ตามที่ได้มีข่าวเหตุการณ์ก่อความไม่สงบในบริเวณดุสิต คอมเพล็กซ์ โรงแรมดุสิตดีทู ไนโรบี ประเทศเคนย่า เมื่อวันที่ 15 มกราคม เวลาประมาณ 16.00 น. ตามเวลาท้องถิ่นในประเทศเคนยา นั้น บริษัท ดุสิตธานี จำกัด (มหาชน) ขอรายงานว่า เจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจ และเจ้าหน้าที่ที่เกี่ยวข้องได้เข้าควบคุมดูแลพื้นที่และกำลังตรวจสอบสถานการณ์อย่างใกล้ชิด ซี่งบริษัทฯ ได้ให้ความร่วมมือกับเจ้าหน้าที่ทุกหน่วยอย่างเต็มที่

      บริษัทฯ รู้สึกเสียใจอย่างสุดซึ้ง สำหรับเหตุการณ์ที่เกิดขึ้น ความปลอดภัยของลูกค้า และพนักงานทุกคนของโรงแรมถือเป็นสิ่งสำคัญที่สุด ซึ่งบริษัทฯ จะดูแลอย่างเต็มความสามารถ และขณะนี้กำลังประสานงานอย่างใกล้ชิดกับเจ้าหน้าที่หน่วย เพื่อให้ทุกคนปลอดภัย ขณะนี้ โรงแรมหยุดให้บริการเป็นการชั่วคราว โดยทางโรงแรมฯ ได้ประสานงานในการนำแขกที่เข้าพักก่อนหน้านี้ และมีกำหนดจะเข้าพัก ส่งต่อไปยังโรงแรมอื่นในตัวเมืองเป็นที่เรียบร้อยแล้ว

Holding Statement: Incident in Nairobi, Kenya

      The management and staff of Dusit Hotels & Resorts is devastated at the incident which took place at the Dusit hotel complex in Nairobi on 15 January at about 16:00 local time (13:00 GMT).

       We are extremely saddened by this act of violence and would like to extend our deepest sympathies to all those affected. Our highest concern is the safety and well-being of our guests and employees, and we are providing every support we can.

      The local authorities have taken control of the complex and are dealing with the situation. We are in constant contact with the authorities and would like to thank them for their swift response.

      Our guests and upcoming reservations have been relocated to other hotels in the city, and the hotel is closed until further notice.
